In addition to taking over production of dispense towers and taps, further advancements have been made at our site in Thirsk, North Yorkshire.

A new second plant has been opened, just a few steps from the original, which has increased the covered surface to 3,400 square metres, thus allowing operations to be redistributed in an optimised layout. Dedicated entirely to the manufacture of traditional Angram pumps, this new space provides a home to six numerically controlled machines.

These machines are used to precision manufacture the most important component within the world’s most famous brand of cask beer pump: the cylinder which first draws then pours the beer into the glass. After this initial phase of production, the pumps are assembled among the site’s existing assembly islands, by expert hands and to exacting standards, just as they have always been.

Finally, the same building houses reconditioning operations for second-hand products, which have been returned after years of service to be revived, reworked and made ready for new work.
This is an exciting new chapter in our story.
