FULLER'S LANDMARK

WE WANTED TO HELP TO TELL THE STORIES THAT EXIST WITHIN THE FULLERS BREWERY, CELEBRATE ITS RICH HISTORY AND ENCAPSULATE EVERYTHING THAT'S UNIQUE ABOUT THE BRAND. AS AN ESTABLISHED LOCAL LANDMARK, THE HAND PULL BEER PUMP HAD TO BE AS ICONIC AS THE BREWERY.

HOW WE DID IT

Our design process for Fuller's was heavily influenced by London, and by the Griffin brewery itself. Instantly recognisable is the unique helix handle - an echo of the brewery chimney that stands above the London landscape.

We recognised two key messages - the Griffin cartouche, and Fuller's tagline of 'Brewed Beside the Thames'. These are finished in embossed brass badges, adding a premium look with a nod to industrial heritage. The engraved plinth retains an elegant, traditional feel - the foundation of the new, rebranded London Pride.

The Result

The Fuller's beer engine is a true icon on the bar, instantly recognisable as unique to their brand. With elements available in kit form, we made it easy to fit to existing bar furniture in the on-trade, and clips can be changed to promote the whole Fuller's range. It's a permanent, ownable position for Fuller's to celebrate their much-loved portfolio of beers.

The team was approached to design and develop a new range of handpumps and lo-line t-bar to be rolled out across the estate, enhancing all the brands they serve on the bar.
